Today I am starting a 365 day long spiritual blog. I know this is going to be hard to keep up with everyday especially with school work and normal work, but I am determined to write something, even if it one sentence everyday. Today’s will be very long because of what has happened over the past few months. Firstly, I started a 21 day fast while raising money for my mission trip. It was a stepping stone for my faith for sure. It opened my eyes at how lazy I am when I come to my faith and how good I am at making excuses. I hope to continue with self discipline by doing this blog everyday.  Tomorrow I will talk more about my mission trip but today I just want to share a verse that God has been using to comfort me. 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him WHO CALLED YOU OUT OF DARKNESS INTO HIS MARVELOUS LIGHT.
